📲 Stripe Terminal for In-Person Payments

  • Firms can now enable “In-Person Payments” in Stripe settings, add their business address, and register card readers.
  • On invoice-type tasks, you’ll see a new Send to Terminal option—pick a reader, preview the total (including any convenience fee), and have your client tap or insert their card right there.

👥 Multiple Contacts for File Shares

  • You can now add more than one recipient for a file share!
  • Each recipient can take separate answers for security questions.

🔤 Alphabetical Task Sorting

  • Tasks can now be sorted alphabetically per firm preference.
  • Contact Support to turn this feature on!

🤖 Enhanced AI Generation for Custom Return Task Templates

  • If a firm has set up a custom return task template for a specific payment sub-type, Truss will now pull that template into the AI-generated instructions instead of the default guidelines. 

📜 Updated QuickBooks Online (QBO) Invoice Processing

  • Invoices can now be opened in QBO from inside a Project.
  • Linked invoices can now no longer be manually moved into Review or Approved without payment.

👓 Estimated Payment Reading

  • We've tightened up how estimated payments and refunds get flagged, checking read pages for additional criteria across the board.

  • These changes help ensure payment tasks are classified correctly and consistently. Let us know if you spot anything unexpected!

🔁 Karbon Contact Sync

  • Updated our sync filters to prevent duplicates.
  • Added restrictions to unlinking records if there are additional Organizations/Entities they're connected to.
  • Added 'Mark as Completed in Karbon' to be always visible so you can manually complete items.

📍 Email Identity for One-Time Pins

  • Resolved an issue where if the email was entered in two ways (i.e., User@Example.com and user@example.com), two separate PINs could be generated, leading to invalid codes.

🗺️ UI Navigation

  • Fixed an issue in the Contact tabs where navigation could switch to different tabs.
