Using tickmarks

  1. Open the Tickmark tool from the side toolbar

    • The tickmark modal can be resized and moved anywhere on the screen

  2. Choose:

    1. Common accounting tickmarks

    2. Numbers 1–25

    3. Letters A–Z

    4. Color:

      • Default color comes from your user settings under annotation color

      • Can be changed per tickmark

    5. Size options:

      • Extra small

      • Small

      • Medium

      • Large

  3. Place tickmark

    • After you choose a tickmark, it remains sticky so you can place it repeatedly without reselecting

  4. To exit tickmarks, either click the X in top right of the modal or the tickmark symbol in the side toolbar

    • When you close the tickmark modal, you also exit tickmark mode

Pro Tip:

You can use the hotkey Ctrl + \ (or ⌘ + \ on Mac) to quickly place checkmarks, and esc to stop.

Editing tickmarks

Once a tickmark is placed, you can:

  1. Resize the tickmark

  2. Add comments to the tickmark

  3. Edit opacity

  4. Add hyperlink

  5. Delete the tickmark

  6. Rotate
